Born in Thailand and raised in England, Tod Supornpaibul’s mixed cultural background lets him see the world from a different perspective and observe cultural difference. Similarly, as a digital artist, he uses his passion productively to mix fine art with computing and coding. Tod’s recent work explores the compulsive use of social media platforms, where people can escape reality. ‘Print’ is an installation which tests the audience’s patience and self-obsession. The program is based on randomness but gives the audience control over the final product, which can be printed and taken away.
